Tumbling process

After carefully picking through the fleece, washing it to remove grease and dirt, and allowing it to properly dry, the next step is tumbling. This process takes the cleaned and dried fiber to the tumbler, a machine designed to help remove additional dirt, debris, and any lingering unwanted material that we don’t want to send through the machines.

Our tumbler has been a fantastic investment, making a noticeable difference in the quality of our final product. By further cleaning and refining the wool at this stage, the tumbler ensures that the fibers are as pure as possible before moving on to the next steps in processing. It’s one of those tools that has truly elevated the results we’re able to deliver.
