Lambs wool - washing

At our shop, we take great care to ensure that every fleece is thoroughly cleaned while preserving its integrity. For cleaning, we use Unicorn Power Scour, a trusted product that effectively removes grease, dirt, and lanolin without harming the fibers.

We rely on two non-agitating washing machines for the soaking process. These machines are perfect for wool, as they maintain the correct water temperature and provide a gentle soak without agitation—because unless you’re aiming to make felt, agitating wool is a big no-no!

Once the soaking is complete, the machines spin out the water, reducing drying time and preparing the wool for the next steps. This method ensures the wool is cleaned thoroughly while maintaining its softness and structure.
